Since 1926, the Ilderton family has been serving customers with quality automobiles in the triad cities of High Point, Greensboro and Winston Salem. When you come into our dealership, whether it be the sales or service department, you will be met with a friendly face. It takes a special dealership to make you feel secure in the car buying process and we are confident we will provide you with an excellent experience. We have a team of individuals that are hardworking, honest and knowledgeable and are ready to assist you with servicing your vehicle or buying a new one. On October 26, 1926 Horace G. Ilderton established Horace G. Ilderton Inc. (later known as Ilderton Dodge) on the corner of Commerce and Willowbrook Street, which is now Elm Street.
T. Carey Ilderton joined his father at the company in 1946 after returning from World War II. He encouraged his father to build what is now the Ilderton dealership on South Main Street. Soon after, they began purchasing adjoining properties for expansion. In 1972, Ilderton started an endeavor to sell and service vehicles equipped to transport the physically challenged. Ilderton Conversion Company was born and now sells and services wheelchair vans, helping people across the country regain their mobility and independence.
Ilderton is still to this day family-managed and led by Tim and Steve Ilderton. Christopher, Catherine and John, the next generation of Ilderton's, are on site and involved in the day to day running of the dealership and are committed to upholding the quality and service that we are known for.
